Jessica Leigh Jones is a multi-award-winning engineer, experienced company director and professional speaker.
Specialising in governance, organisational culture and performance improvement, Jessica works with complex organisations to deliver major change programmes. She has managed large teams and has extensive recruitment experience, including C-level.
Jessica pursues a keen interest in education and apprenticeships. She is a Non-Executive Director of Wales' largest exam board, WJEC, and Chair of its commercial subsidiary, WJEC Services, a print manufacturing facility. Jessica is a Non-Executive Director of the newly established Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education in England, the arms-length body responsible for discharging the government's ambitious technical education reforms, and servces on its Quality Assurance Committee. She is also a Trustee of the Engineering Education Scheme Wales, a thirty-year-old charitable organisation creating hands-on engineering experiences for young people.
Jessica has received the Freedom of the City of London and represents the fastest progression to the rank of Liveryman at the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers. She was 2017’s Woman of the Future for Technology & Digital, has been recognised as a Top 100 Manufacturer’s Exemplar figure and appeared as one of the youngest in the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe List 2018.
