"We were absolutely delighted when Jessica Leigh Jones accepted our invitation to become a patron of science and engineering at our school. Jessica has consistently delivered as an inspirational keynote speaker on a number of occasions clearly resonating with and inspiring all who heard her. From our youngest pupils to sixth formers, parents, grandparents and commercial partners, Jessica clearly made an impact. Jessica is a wonderful role model for our students, and has also been involved in mentoring our aspiring engineers to national success. Jessica recently achieved the much deserved accolade of ‘Rising Star’ at the prestigious FDM Everywoman in Technology Awards, an apt award for such an exceptional individual. We are incredibly proud to be working with Jessica."
Development Director, Alton Convent School.
"We have invited Jess to speak on numerous occasions at events for 100-600 young women in South Wales and she is always extremely well received with teachers and young people alike. Jess is a fantastic speaker – engaging and relevant for all audiences, but particularly young people who quickly identify with her story. Jess speaks eloquently about her passions for physics and engineering, and is an excellent role model for the engineering industry.
Jess is enthusiastic, professional and poised, and the feedback from delegates is always extremely positive, with young people and teachers stating they have been left inspired by Jess’s speech, and wanting to know more about her background and experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jess as a keynote speaker for any event."

"Jessica is a very competent and enthusiastic speaker. Jessica has helped us as an ambassador for many years. She is a very good speaker and an excellent role model to encourage young people, particularly girls, to pursue STEM subjects and to enter careers in the STEM area."
CEO, Engineering Education Scheme Wales
"Jessica worked with the education charity CaST Cymru (Communities and Schools Together) during our Welsh Government funded programme to encourage girls to engage more fully with the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). Jessica visited a number of schools throughout Wales to talk with young people, worked closely with us on up-skilling teachers to be more gender aware and spoke at two National Conferences (Cardiff and Wrexham) to many hundreds of teachers and other science professionals. Throughout this programme Jessica’s contribution was outstanding and inspirational – her contribution to the conferences received the best evaluation of any contributor, schools wanted her back for second visits (as a role model for young women in engineering it is hard to imagine anyone better or better qualified) and had the programme continued we at CaST would have been absolutely delighted to increase Jessica’s involvement. Jessica is an inspiration to others.
